Big Day for Jackson as Honu Down Earthquakes, 13-4
The Hawaii Honu took on the San Francisco Earthquakes at Golden Gate Park.

The Hawaii Honu easily defeated the San Francisco Earthquakes, 13-4, at Golden Gate Park, with center fielder Zach Jackson a main contributor to the win. He went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 4 and driving in 2 for Hawaii. The win brings the Honu to 6-10, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.

Hawaii grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Jackson hit a 2-run home run off Rich Swayngim. His 2nd home run of the season put the Honu out in front, 6-4.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Jackson.
