The Hawaii Honu beat the Havana Stogies, 5-1, at Aloha Stadium. Starting pitcher Danny Barajas was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Nate Yelinek wrapped it up, recording his 2nd save. The 4th-place Honu now have a record of 70-67.

The Honu got a big at-bat from left fielder Sandy Rosales. For the game, Rosales went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 23rd home run of the season gave Hawaii a 2-1 lead.

"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Barajas. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
