Cabo San Lucas designated hitter Chance Reber picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Bighorn Bison, 7-6. Reliever Josh Williams picked up the win. His record improves to 2-3. Zach Phillips took the loss. Jimmy Sherry recorded his 38th save for Cabo San Lucas.

Reber had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 0-1 slider from Zach Phillips, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Toreros a 6-4 lead. It was the 16th home run of the year for Reber.

"We've got to get out of this funk," said Bighorn manager Carlos Esparza.

The third-place Toreros lifted their record to 72-67.
