Moonshiners Get Thrilling 11-10 Win
San Francisco first baseman Mike Young had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 11-10, to Asheville in 10 innings. Young slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Joey Tino picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 7-4. Rosario Lulli suffered the loss. Asheville now owns a record of 74-65.

The Moonshiners got a clutch hit from right fielder Amezwaru Kimaiyo. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Moonshiners.

"That's what this team is about," said Kimaiyo, "picking each other up."
