The Tallahassee Captains did just enough to sneak past the Fort Worth Cats, 5-4, at LaGrave Field. Tallahassee left fielder Josh Flamm, in particular, had a standout performance. The winner in relief was Martin Andrade. He is now 1-0. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 4 innings. Fort Worth drops to 0-2.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Bob Sanders? The 25-year old first baseman Sanders stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put Tallahassee up, 5-4. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.
