The bat of Herberto Tonilhas helped the State College Swallowtails top the Memphis Privateers, 9-3. Tonilhas went 2-2 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for State College. State College pitcher Eric Church got the win. He's now 1-0. Mike Olejarz was tagged with the loss. The Swallowtails, now 2-0, have stormed out of the gates.

State College used a well-timed hit by Will Burkhardt to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Swallowtails ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"It was a good team win. Everybody threw something in," Burkhardt told the State College Times.
