Antioch Coal Miners starter Rich Swayngim pitched a strong game against the Astoria Argonauts at The Coal Mine, leading the Coal Miners to victory, 7-4. Nate D'Ambrosio closed the door for Antioch, picking up his 1st save of the year. Antioch is off to a hot start at 2-0.

Jeff Spain helped out the Antioch cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 4 with a hit by pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"Rich did a good job of managing their lineup," said Antioch manager Jordan Hay.
