D'Arienzo Delivers Walk-Off Win for Hitmen
Due in part to first baseman John Hamilton, the Calgary Hitmen chopped down the Albuquerque Cacti, 6-5, in 10 innings. Hamilton went 2-3 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Calgary pitcher Ryan Wride got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Caleb Brickhouse got the loss. With the win, Calgary improves its record to 3-0.

The decisive blow was delivered by Pat D'Arienzo in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off fireballing right-hander Caleb Brickhouse to win the game for Calgary. The home crowd went nuts.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," D'Arienzo told the Calgary Chronicle.
