State College Swallowtails starter Rich Harper was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Memphis Privateers, 4-3. State College reliever Billy Seal was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Steve Hoefling took the loss. Memphis now has a record of 0-3.

Brian Trulson had a direct impact on the outcome. Trulson contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put State College up, 4-3.

"You can never predict what'll happen," Trulson said. "That's why you play the game."
