The Reno Raiders captured an easy win, 17-4, over the Albany Firebirds at Capital Grounds. Marco Hinojosa led the offensive barrage, going 4-for-5 for Reno. The win puts Reno at 5-0.

Reno used the hitting of Troy Tobias to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Raiders on top, 3-0. For the game, Tobias had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
