The Waimea Wind topped the Thunder Bay Black Bears, 8-6, the lion's share of the credit going to right fielder Aaron Worley. On the day, Worley went 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs for the Wind. Daniel Castro earned the save for Waimea, his 1st. The loss drops the Black Bears to 5-3.

Waimea took the lead, 8-6, on Ian Campbell's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Thunder Bay pitcher Keith Sill in the bottom of the eighth.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Worley.
