The Fairfield Flash got a sterling performance from pitcher Angelo Perez, but the Calgary Cowboys still prevailed, 4-3. Perez threw 7.1 innings allowing 2 runs. Calgary now has a record of 4-5.

Calgary got a knockout punch from John Reilly. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
