Minneapolis Dismisses Billings, 3-1
|
Minneapolis Freeze right-hander Shane Burns pitched a good game against the Billings Mustangs at Cobb Field, leading his team to victory, 3-1. With the win, Minneapolis climbs to 5-6.
Minneapolis used the hitting of Nathan Albury to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put the Freeze on top, 2-0. For the game, Albury had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Minneapolis skipper Ben Jeffcoat.
