The Minneapolis Freeze got a stellar effort from pitcher Aymeric Chili, helping Minneapolis score a win over the visiting Waimea Wind, 5-2. The winner was Chili. He threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball. The loser was Julian Hill. Mike O'Neil earned the save, his 2nd, for the Freeze.

The Freeze got a big at-bat from center fielder Curtis Dellinger. For the game, Dellinger went 3-4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 6th double of the season gave Minneapolis a 3-1 lead.

"That's how you're going to be successful," said Freeze manager Ben Jeffcoat. "It starts with pitching and it will always be pitching."

Losses have been few and far between for the Wind, now 10-3.
