The Calgary Cowboys stifled the Waimea Wind, 7-0, at Cowboys Field. Leil Moorthy, who is rated as the 42nd best prospect by BNN, had his hitting cap on. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for Calgary. The loss drops Waimea to 8-7.

With Calgary leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Moorthy hit a sinker from Bob Harrigan for a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Cowboys ahead, 3-0.

"We understand we didn't play our best baseball," said losing manager Orlando González. "We'll shower it off and be ready to compete."
