Eureka starter Bobby Loscalzo kept the Cabo San Lucas offense in check, while his team rolled to a win, 12-1. Loscalzo picked up the win for Eureka, going 6.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 2-2. With the win, Eureka lifts its record to 9-11.

Ed Cormack had a big bases-clearing double for the Hornets in the top of the second inning. With Eureka leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Bobby Avila and swatted a double to right. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Hornets ahead, 5-0.
