Baton Rouge Rallies for 5-4 Win
The Baton Rouge Outlaws defeated the Peoria Caterpillars, 5-4, in RCL AAA action at Coca Cola Stadium. Baton Rouge pitcher Juan Rodriguez had a standout performance. Jesse Bates earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 1.1 innings. He upped his record to 2-2. Peoria falls to 11-3.

Brad Downey was the walk-off hero for Baton Rouge. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Outlaws right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Rodriguez. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
