Montreal right-hander Sandy Briseno helped his team edge Dallas by the score of 3-2. Briseno kept the opposing lineup in check. Eric Wilkinson picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Cameron Mutton suffered the loss. Montreal, now 13-6, has played well in the early going.

Michael Morley was the walk-off hero for Montreal. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mounties pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The crowd went wild," Morley said.
