The State College Swallowtails banked on Sam Haydon and he turned in a masterful performance. The right-hander kept the Fort Worth hitters in check. The final score was 1-0, Swallowtails. Matt York got credit for the save for State College. It was his 1st of the year. Losses have been few and far between for the Cats, who are now 11-4.

Haydon allowed no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings for State College. With the win, the rookie right-hander is 3-1 with an ERA of 1.45.
