Amarillo overcame a superior effort from Josh Wucherer to beat Minneapolis, 4-3. The Minneapolis pitcher threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The Armadillos have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 3rd win in 16 games.

Armando Castro delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth to win it for the Armadillos. For the game, Castro drove in one run.

"We saved our best for last," said Castro.
