Armadillos Rally to Win
The Amarillo Armadillos defeated the Pasadena Bumblebees in 12 innings, 9-8, in part because of designated hitter Adam Bergeron. Bergeron went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs for the Armadillos. The winner was Radhi Tuwile in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Dave Murphy took the loss. The Bumblebees fall to 6-12 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2062 season.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With no one out, Bergeron hit a sinker from Dave Murphy for a solo home run. The Armadillos, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's great when the crowd is energized," Bergeron said.
