Pasadena wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Jeremy Parker, falling to the Tallahassee Captains, 5-4. Parker threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. The loss drops Pasadena to 12-6.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Pedro Lopez? The 24-year old catcher Lopez stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put Tallahassee up, 5-4. For the game, he was 3 for 4, including 1 double and 2 singles.

"Both teams played hard," said Tallahassee manager Luis Sánchez.
