With designated hitter Will Walters leading the charge, the Baton Rouge Outlaws defeated the State College Swallowtails, 10-0, at Coca Cola Stadium. Walters went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Jordan Phelps, the winner, goes to 1-2. He allowed no runs on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 6 strikeouts over 7.2 innings. The Swallowtails fall to 7-12 and continue their sputtering start to the 2062 season.

With Baton Rouge leading 5-0 in the bottom of the second, Walters came up to bat against State College pitcher Chris Collins. Walters hit a fastball to right-center for a grand slam home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Outlaws on top, 9-0.

"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Walters.
