The Fort Worth Cats faced a tenacious opponent in Calgary pitcher Garrett Frankel, but still scratched out a win at Cowboys Field by a final score of 6-3 in 10 innings. Frankel went 7.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. The win was credited to 27-year old right-handed pitcher Brian McLean in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Gary Selby took the loss. With the loss, Calgary drops to 12-10.

Fort Worth took advantage of an error in the top of the tenth inning. The game was tied, 3-3, when Dan DiFranco hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Cats in front, 4-3.
