The Calgary Cowboys beat the Fort Worth Cats, 9-7, at Cowboys Field. Calgary right fielder Leil Moorthy had an outstanding performance. He went 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Fort Worth drops to 7-18.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Moorthy hit a fastball from Don Mrazek for a 2-run home run. The Cowboys, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We got the victory," said Moorthy. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
