Ridge Runners Come Back Late, Nip Texans
Well, that's how to end a game in style.

In a low-scoring affair between the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners and the Dallas Texans, pitcher Willie Borrero was the difference between victory and defeat. The Eagle Rock right-hander earned kudos in the 2-1 Ridge Runners win. The Ridge Runners, with just their 6th win in 20 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

Eagle Rock got a knockout punch from Timothy McAlear. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Dallas skipper Lester Burrow, "and it cost us."
