Montreal and Cabo San Lucas duked it out and the Mounties came out victorious.

A 3-RBI performance from Chris Elliott, who finished 5th in the RCL in home runs with 35 last year, helped the Montreal Mounties beat the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 9-6. The win brings the Mounties to 7-14, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.

Early in the game, Elliott had a 2-run home run for Montreal. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Mounties on top, 2-0.

"I'm just out there trying to have as much fun as I can while I'm playing," Elliott told the Montreal Times.
