Madison registered a win at The Corral by beating the Albany Firebirds, 5-2. Pitcher Tatsuro Eda was one reason why the Muskies triumphed. Paul Bender recorded the save, his 4th. Madison now has a record of 22-6.

The Muskies got a big at-bat from catcher Greg Parsons. For the game, Parsons was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave Madison a 2-1 lead.

"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Eda.
