The Albuquerque Cacti outscored the Calgary Hitmen, 10-9. Among the hitting stars was shortstop Mike Riggs. Riggs, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2062 draft, was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Vitaliano Baldato, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings.

Riggs contributed in the bottom of the second. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Albuquerque get the win.
