Armadillos Lose at Home, 6-3, to Pasadena

The Pasadena Bumblebees picked up a win at Armadillos Park, taking down the Amarillo Armadillos, 6-3. Starting pitcher John Brett was a big reason why. Brett, the winner, moves to 1-1. He threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 2 walks. For the Armadillos, the loss makes their record 10-20.
The Bumblebees got a big at-bat from third baseman Nick Trahan. For the game, Trahan went 1 for 4 with a home run. In the top of the second, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Pasadena a 1-0 lead.
Pasadena manager David Williams called it "a good, solid win."
