Chris Pagan had a good game, but he could not keep the Thunder Bay Black Bears from falling, 4-3, to the Tallahassee Captains at The Carrier Dome. The Thunder Bay third baseman was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs in the loss. With the win, Tallahassee pushed its record to 24-12.

Brad Harnish drove in one run for Tallahassee. The 25-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Justin Gillen. It was his 2nd RBI of the season.

After the game, Tallahassee manager Luis Sánchez applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
