The Thunder Bay Black Bears stifled the Tallahassee Captains, 6-1, at The Carrier Dome. Steve Molyneaux had his hitting cap on. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Thunder Bay. The Black Bears raised their record to 23-14.
Thunder Bay used a well-timed hit by Dylan Sullivan to capture the win. The second baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Black Bears ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Sullivan.
