Outlaws Rally to Tally 4-2 Win
The Fort Worth Cats got a superb performance from pitcher Bob Epperson, but the Baton Rouge Outlaws still won the game, 4-2. Epperson threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. Baton Rouge pitcher Brad Pecore got the win. He's now 1-0. Nick Loyd was tagged with the loss. Mike Stone closed the game out for Baton Rouge, earning his 1st save.

Baton Rouge used a timely hit from Will Hambleton to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Outlaws ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

Said losing manager Dudha Goli: "Not taking anything away from them, but we swung the bats better than what it showed."

Fort Worth has now lost 4 straight.
