Rausch Hits Two Dingers, Argonauts Win, 14-6
Behind a fine performance from Nick Rausch, the Astoria Argonauts knocked off the Joplin Fireballs, 14-6. Rausch went 4 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Argonauts. At 18-24, the Argonauts are currently 5th in the TML AAA Cito Gaston League.

Matt Cordeiro had a big bases-clearing double for the Argonauts in the bottom of the first inning. With Astoria leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from Ramon Franco, who is tied for 8th in the TAAA in quality starts with 4, and swatted a double to right. It was his 16th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Argonauts ahead, 4-0.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Amin Kinsaka.
