Mace Kota was the difference-maker for the Buffalo Bison in what turned into a shootout with the Maple Marauders. Kota, who finished 2nd in the TML in doubles with 54 in 2064, went 3-for-5 in the 15-11 Bison win. Carlos Acevez earned his 1st save, after closing out the game. So far, the 2066 season has been disappointing for Maple, now 7-14.

With Buffalo leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Kota hit a fastball from Josh Hall for a 2-run double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Bison ahead, 3-0.

Maple manager Aaron McKenna said he was disappointed with the loss. "Whenever you score that many runs, you expect to win the game."
