Madison left fielder Kahsay Daudi contributed significantly to his team's 7-5 win over the Astoria Argonauts. Daudi, who is tied for 9th in the TAAA in triples with 2, went 2 for 2 with no runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Muskies. Tom Cole was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Jeremy Meisel. With the win, Madison goes to 18-25, while the Argonauts fall to 19-25.

Had Frank Hallamore not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Hallamore hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Muskies.

"It was sure nice to get the win but there's a lot of baseball left," Hallamore after the game.
