The home crowd had a good time watching the Hawaii Honu and Vancouver Pioneers get after it.

Vancouver right fielder Mitch Delagrange had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Hawaii Honu, 5-2. The win puts Vancouver at 12-8.

With Vancouver trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Delagrange hit a fastball from Chris Sweeney for a grand slam home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Pioneers ahead, 5-2.

In postgame comments to the Vancouver Observer, Delagrange said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
