Beaches Earn 4-3 Win Against Captains
It took 15 innings, but the Cozumel Beaches were able to beat the Tallahassee Captains, 4-3, at The Carrier Dome. David Shannon provided some offensive muscle for Cozumel. He was 3 for 6 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Brandon Hubacek snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-1 on the season. Yang-cheng Huang suffered the loss. The Beaches sit in last place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division with a record of 19-31.

Had Shannon not come through in the top of the 15th, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Shannon hit a run-scoring single. The Beaches took the lead, 4-3, and never looked back.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Tallahassee manager Luis Sánchez.
