Frank Frisby, who is tied for 6th in the TAAA in strikeouts with 52, propelled his team to victory over the Joplin Fireballs. The final score was 6-3, Amarillo. Ashton Roberge collected save number 2. Today's win puts Amarillo at 24-28, while Joplin falls to 21-30.

Amarillo needed the clutch hitting of James Adkinson to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Armadillos on top, 4-2. For the game, Adkinson had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
