Toreros Lose By a Run at Quebec
Despite a fine performance by first baseman Tommy Dollak, the Cabo San Lucas Toreros lost to the Quebec Armada, 7-6. Dollak belted 2 home runs. Nick Cockrell came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed 3 runs on 3 hits in 3 innings. His record now stands at 3-2. The win brings the Armada to 8-14, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.

John Bramante hit a 2-run triple off Charlie Doane in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Armada in front, 7-6. In addition to the triple, Bramante had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Bramante.
