Fireballs Send Indianapolis Home with 4-3 Loss
The Joplin Fireballs picked up a win at Ken Griffey Jr. Plaza, downing the Indianapolis Ambition, 4-3. On the mound for Joplin was right-hander Raul Capetillo, who played a pivotal role in the win. At 21-32, the Fireballs claim last place in the TML AAA Joe Torre Division.

Joplin used the timely hitting of Ernest Fortin to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Fireballs on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Fortin.
