Waimea starter Julian Hill kept the Bowling Green hitters in check, helping his team cruise to a win, 9-2. Franco Lano closed the door for Waimea, picking up his 2nd save of the year. The 6th-place Wind go to 21-29.

Brett Cline, who is tied for 4th in the RAAA in runs scored with 35, came through for Waimea with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. The left fielder went 2 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 2 runs batted in.

"Julian's stuff looked really, really crisp," said Orlando González, the Wind manager.
