The Cozumel Beaches defeated the Calgary Hitmen, 8-2. Left Fielder C.J. Parrish deserved a large share of the credit. Parrish went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Beaches. David Harkey, the winning pitcher, is now 1-3. He went 8 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits, while fanning 4 and walking 3. At 25-23, the Beaches claim 4th place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division.

With Cozumel leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Parrish came up to bat against Calgary pitcher Ricky Sanchez. Parrish hit a fastball to right for a 2-run double. His 15th double of the season put the Beaches on top, 4-1.

"It was a tough day, no getting around it," said losing manager Brandon Ashley.
