Right-hander Danny Coyle mesmerized the El Paso Mavericks while leading the Montreal Mounties to a 5-0 victory. Montreal reliever Danny Coyle got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Franklin Lucero was tagged with the loss. Montreal sits at 9-15.

Montreal won the game in part because of J.N. Martin. The third baseman ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Mounties ahead, 2-0. For the game, Martin had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
