Schwegler Collects Cycle
Chris Schwegler accomplished one of the rarer feats in baseball when he hit for the cycle against the Montreal Mounties in the 6-3 Eagle Rock Ridge Runners win at Ozark Mountain Stadium.

Afterward, Schwegler acknowledged that his accomplishment was special, but said he was more interested in helping the Ridge Runners win.

"Maybe one day I'll look back on this with more meaning, but right now I just want to go out tomorrow and put some good swings on the ball and help my club win another game," Schwegler said.

On his historic day, he went 4-for-5 with 4 RBI and 2 runs scored -- and also got a spot in the history books.

Chris Schwegler singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, flied out in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Owen Stegemann in the 7th and tripled in the 8th.

Currently Schwegler is batting .300 with 4 home runs and 13 RBIs.
