Luchadores Suffer 7-5 Setback
Jason Shannon was instrumental in his team's 7-5 triumph over the Mexico City Luchadores. The designated hitter was 1 for 2 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Chicago Eclipse. Jerry Bamberg snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 1.1 innings. He's now 4-1 on the season. For the Luchadores, the loss makes them 9-14.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Shannon hit a fastball from Jim Westberry for a 2-run home run. The Eclipse, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
