Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Calgary Cowboys as starter Jason Goodrich shut them out, 6-0, at House of Pain. The Reno pitcher struck out 3 and walked 4 while allowing 5 hits.

"Goodrich was good but he wasn't flawless," Calgary manager Thomas Hughes said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Reno, but this is on us."
