The Reno Raiders topped the Calgary Cowboys, 8-1, in TML AAA action at House of Pain. The game was highlighted by the performance of Reno pitcher Gilles Bousquet. In 7.2 innings, Bousquet surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 4. He allowed 1 run. Joe Gleason collected his 1st save.

In the bottom of the second, 31-year old shortstop Tucker Yarde hit a run-scoring double. The 9th double of the season for the Reno shortstop put the Raiders on top, 1-0.

Said losing manager Thomas Hughes: "I think Susan Sarandon said it, 'Hit it where they ain't.' We didn't do a very good job of that tonight."

With the win, Reno goes to 37-34, while the Cowboys fall to 43-28.
