Loss to Wind Extends Peoria Losing Streak
In a low-scoring tilt between the Waimea Wind and the Peoria Caterpillars, Tristan Cooperman, who is tied for 7th in the RAAA in quality starts with 7, was the difference-maker. The Waimea left-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. The save went to Daniel Castro, his 18th this season. The win elevated the Wind to 41-33.

Waimea used a well-timed hit by Chris Ratliff to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Wind ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Tristan was throwing free and easy," said Waimea manager Orlando González.
