The game between Tallahassee and Amarillo is in the books, despite a little rain.

The Tallahassee Captains defeated the Amarillo Armadillos, 9-3, at Armadillos Park. Tallahassee center fielder Eddie Pupillo had a superb performance. He went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Randy Sellman earned the win to go to 4-7. He allowed 3 runs on 9 hits, with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts in 7.1 innings of work.

Melvin Cintron had a big 2-run home run for the Captains in the top of the first inning. With Tallahassee leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a slider from Nicolas Lambert and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 15th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Captains ahead, 3-0.

"You look inside of the game, it's just quality approach after quality approach," said Captains manager Luis Sánchez.

The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Captains.
