In a tight contest between the State College Swallowtails and the Pasadena Bumblebees, Alex Estrada was the determining factor. The State College right-hander sparkled in his team's 3-2 win. The winner was Estrada. He threw 7.2 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Mike Coker. The 4th-place Bumblebees have dropped 4 straight games.
State College took a 3-2 lead on Lewis Yafeu's 19th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Yafeu hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Pasadena pitcher Mike Coker visibly frustrated.
